Dr. Steven W. Scribner

Welcome to the office of Dr. Steven W. Scribner! Dr.Scribner specializes in medical-legal and forensic chiropractic. He is called on from both defense and plaintiff's councils to act as an expert in cases where litigation is probable. Dr. Scribner also treats auto accident and personal injury cases and referrals from a vast network of other healthcare professionals. Symptoms such as low back pain, neck pain, headaches, shooting pain into your arm and/or legs and injuries following car accidents are just a few examples of what Dr. Scribner treats in his clinic.

Dr. Scribner has been licensed and practicing since his graduation for over 20 years now. He earned his doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. He holds full accreditation status, completing four academic years with an excess of 4600 classroom hours and clinical training combined. Dr. Scribner is a member of several professional organizations including many state and national associations.

Chiropractic treatment is based on the concept that restricted movement in the spine or its surrounding joints especially after trauma, may lead to pain and reduced function. Spinal mobilization and manipulation is one form of therapy Dr. Scribner uses to treat restricted spinal mobility. Dr. Scribners goal with all of his patients is to "minimize pain and maximize function".

Dr. Scribner is available for medical records reviews, Independent Medical Examinations and He has been appointed by the state of California as a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME).

Dr. Scribner employs massage therapists who use stretching to relax muscles that are shortened or are in spasm. His office may employ additional treatments as well, such as spinal decompression, electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, ice and exercises to achieve to goals of minimizing pain and maximizing function.
